Orbit

Terms of Use

These terms explain the rules for using Orbit, how subscriptions and free trials work, and how to cancel. Please read them with your child.

Last updated: October 4, 2026

Agreement To These Terms

  • These Terms of Use are an agreement between you and Compound AI (“Orbit,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) and apply to the Orbit website, the Orbit apps for iPhone, iPad and Android, and any related services.
  • By creating an account or using Orbit, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use Orbit.
  • Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect and use information, and is part of these terms.

Who Can Use Orbit

  • Parent and guardian accounts must be created by an adult who has reached the age of majority where they live.
  • Children may use Orbit only with the permission and supervision of a parent or guardian, who accepts these terms on the child’s behalf and is responsible for the child’s use of Orbit.
  • You agree to give accurate account information and to keep your login details secure. You are responsible for activity on your account and on any child account linked to it.

Using Orbit Responsibly

  • Do not use Orbit to break the law, to harm, harass or impersonate anyone, or to create or share sexual, violent, hateful or otherwise harmful content.
  • Do not try to get around Orbit’s safety filters, parental controls or usage limits, or access accounts or data that are not yours.
  • Do not copy, scrape, reverse engineer, overload or interfere with Orbit, or use it to build a competing service.
  • We may remove content or limit access when we believe these rules have been broken or a child’s safety is at risk.

AI-Generated Content

  • Orbit uses artificial intelligence to respond to questions, generate images and support learning. AI responses can be wrong, incomplete or out of date, so please check important information.
  • Orbit is designed to help children think things through rather than hand them answers. It is not a substitute for a teacher, doctor, counselor or other professional, and does not give medical, legal or financial advice.
  • Our safety filters greatly reduce, but cannot completely eliminate, the chance of unsuitable content. If you see something that concerns you, please tell us at hello@orbitkids.ai.

Your Content

  • You keep ownership of the messages, images and other content you submit to Orbit.
  • You give us permission to store, process and display that content as needed to run Orbit, keep it safe and improve it, as described in our Privacy Policy.
  • Parents and guardians linked to a child account can view that child’s conversations. A chat you choose to share can be viewed by anyone who has its link.

Subscriptions And Free Trials

  • Full access to Orbit requires a paid subscription, or a link to an account that has one. The plans, prices and any free trial are shown before you subscribe.
  • A free trial lasts for the period shown when you sign up, for example 3 days for monthly or 14 days for yearly plans on our website. Unless you cancel before the trial ends, your subscription starts and you are charged automatically.
  • Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period, at the then-current price for the same plan, until you cancel. Free trial eligibility is limited to one per customer, as determined by the payment provider.
  • If we change the price of a subscription, we or the payment provider will tell you before the new price applies.

Billing And Cancellation

  • Website: payments are processed by Stripe. You can manage or cancel your subscription from Manage Subscription in your Orbit settings.
  • iPhone and iPad: payment is charged to your Apple Account. Manage or cancel your subscription in Settings, then your name, then Subscriptions, at least 24 hours before it renews.
  • Android: payment is charged to your Google Play account. Manage or cancel your subscription in the Google Play Store under Payments & subscriptions.
  • Cancelling stops future renewals. You keep access until the end of the period you have already paid for. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.

Refunds

  • Purchases made through the App Store are refunded by Apple under Apple’s policies, at reportaproblem.apple.com.
  • Purchases made through Google Play are refunded under Google Play’s refund policies.
  • Payments made on our website are non-refundable except where required by law. If you think you were charged in error, contact us at hello@orbitkids.ai.

Ending Your Use Of Orbit

  • You can stop using Orbit at any time and ask us to delete your account and your child’s data.
  • We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, puts others at risk, or is required to be closed by law.

Changes To Orbit And These Terms

  • Orbit will keep changing as we add, improve or remove features.
  • We may update these terms from time to time. If a change is significant we will let you know, for example by email or in the app. Continuing to use Orbit after an update means you accept the new terms.

Disclaimers And Limitation Of Liability

  • Orbit is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, we do not promise that it will be uninterrupted, error-free or suitable for any particular purpose.
  • To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses, and our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us for Orbit in the 12 months before the claim.
  • Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under consumer protection laws that cannot be excluded.

App Store And Google Play

  • If you downloaded Orbit from Apple’s App Store, these terms are between you and Compound AI only, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for Orbit or its content, and your use of the app must also follow the Usage Rules in Apple’s Media Services Terms and Conditions.
  • Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for Orbit. If the app fails to meet any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price, if any. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation for the app.
  • Apple is not responsible for addressing any claims relating to Orbit or your use of it, including product liability claims, claims that the app does not meet a legal or regulatory requirement, consumer protection or privacy claims, or claims that the app infringes someone else’s intellectual property. Compound AI, not Apple, is responsible for those.
  • You confirm that you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo or listed as a terrorist-supporting country, and that you are not on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
  • Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you.
  • If you downloaded Orbit from Google Play, Google Play’s terms of service also apply to your purchases there.
